There are a lot of people to thank for making the 2025 Produce Show possible.

First, our committee, who’ve worked so hard behind the scenes to bring the show back to life. Without your time, energy, and sheer determination, this simply wouldn’t have happened.

To our judges – thank you for tackling the tricky task of choosing winners. It takes real courage to declare one sponge cake slightly spongier than another, but you did it brilliantly. To Rose for making the judges such a delicious lunch to keep them fuelled after their deliberations.

To everyone who entered – thank you for filling the hall with colour, creativity, and produce of every shape and size.

A special thank you to the W.I. for your generous tea making and cake contributions, to the Scouts and Cubs for your energy and stalls today.

To Ian Whittingham for donating all those teddies for the kids’ tombola, I think it’s safe to say there’ll be a lot of cuddly bedtimes for some time.
